Delivery driver of local restaurant robbed at gunpoint


A delivery driver for a local restaurant was robbed at gunpoint by two men in the area of 427 North Main Street last Friday.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, the driver, who was not harmed, was making a delivery when two men approached him in an alleyway. A handgun was pointed at the driver, and he was ordered to turn over his money, the release said. The driver complied and the suspects took off with an undetermined amount of cash and the victim’s cell phone, which was later recovered, the release said.
The Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions continue are investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Bristol police at (860) 584-3011.
