Plainville library to show ‘The Fault In Our Stars’

A film based on John Green’s best selling novel, “The Fault in our Stars”, will be shown at the Plainville Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 2:30 p.m. The series, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, shows films recently released in DVD format.

“The Fault In Our Stars” features two teenagers, Hazel and Gus, who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.

The program is free.

The Plainville Public Library is at 56 East Main St., Plainville. For more information, call (860) 793-1446.
