A Taste of Southington: A sprinkle of salt, a flood of food, and a summer shower

Summer rains didn’t stop the crowds at A Taste of Southington. On Thursday, Aug. 9, visitors armed with umbrellas converged on the Barnes Museum for the annual event. Eleven local eateries met them with a wide variety of dishes. What’s better than comfort food on a rainy day?
