Dining listings for the March 9 edition



ST PATRICK’S DAY DINNER. Saturday, March 10, 6 p.m., at Mary Our Queen Church hall on Savage St. Menu is corned beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes, carrots and onions, Irish soda bread, dessert and beverage. Entertainment by Old Tyme Fiddlers. Cost is $15 ($5 for children). Tickets on sale after all masses March 4-5 or call Gloria and Vinnie at (860) 276-0654. No tickets at the door. Proceeds benefit the church’s scholarship fund.




UNICO ITALIAN DINNER. 6 p.m. at Testa’s banquet facility, 26 S. Center St. Cost is $30 per person and proceeds benefit UNICO of Southington. Meal includes antipasto, pasta e fagioli, macaroni and meatballs, soffritto, chicken parmigiana, roasted potatoes and insalata. Wine will be served with dinner. HARVESTING HOPE: A FARM-TO-TABLE EXPERIENCE. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Great Hall at Union Station, Hartford. Benefit for Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter in Southington for their education and support programs and critical services. Tickets are $225 per person or $2,500 to $10,000 for table sponsors. Top chefs from the Hartford and New Haven area will be preparing courses and sharing personal stories about how Alzheimer’s has touched their lives.
