To the editor:
The opinion stated in the Sept. 25 edition of the Observer, from Mr. Cabata, needs a good dose of clarity.
Mr. Cabata is obviously looking for votes using negativity versus healthy debate and respect, but he should be honest with himself and the public.
First, all in attendance at the ethics hearing against one of our fine councilors realize that this councilor did nothing wrong and was simply the target of a political ambush.
Secondly, our current town council is comprised of an outstanding group of volunteers who deserve our support.
The past few years have seen the modernization of both middle schools, road improvements, 21st century energy advances, proactive planning, and many other benefits. It’s an easy decision for me. I’m sticking with all who are running for re-election.
Thank you for your consideration.
