Arrest made for bomb threat at Bradley

Police announced an arrest in conjunction to a bomb threat at the medical arts building at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, Bradley Campus.

On April 10, at 1:10 p.m., police were dispatched to the hospital on a threatening investigation. Police said that the Complainant reported that a female called the medical arts lab at approximately 1:05 p.m. and during the phone conversation, the caller allegedly threatened to come to the facility with a bomb to blow it up.

The caller was identified as Michelle Cyr, 44, of Southington. Officers responded to the Medical Arts building and also to Cyr’s residence. At the residence, Cyr was located and taken into custody without incident.

Cyr was processed and charged with first degree threatening and second degree breach of peace. She was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in the Bristol Court on April 20.
