Officers were dispatched to 592 East St. at approximately 10:07 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, following complaints of a loud party and vehicles obstructing traffic.
Upon arrival, officers found 29 minors ages 16 to 18 inside the home and evidence of underage alcohol consumption. Police reported both opened and unopened beer cans and liquor bottles, along with evidence of drinking games being played.
All minors present, twelve 18-year-olds, fourteen 17-year-olds and three 16-year-olds, were issued infractions for possession of alcohol by a minor.
Homeowner Steven Soto, 46, was issued a misdemeanor summons for violation of Connecticut General Statutes section 30-89a, for permitting minors to posses liquor on a private property.
