Calendar House at 388 Pleasant St. has announced some April events.
Registration for Summer Computer Session, Monday, April 6 and Monday, April 13, 10 a.m., in the Perry Room. Applications are handed out in the order of arrival. Sessions begin in early May. Early arrival is suggested for choice classes. Classes offered this session are: Basic 1, Intro to Computers, Fix Windows, iPad Basics, iPad Basics 2, and Kindle Fire. Bring check or cash with you for tuition payment.
Financial Club, Wednesday, April 8, 1 p.m. Learn how to manage your Financial Investments, including stocks, bonds, CDs, money markets, mutual funds, and other investment instruments with Connie Proll, a Southington based certified financial advisor.
Tickets for “When the Cat’s Away” at the Newport Playhouse Dinner Theater. Seats are still available. Buffet in the main dining room, after dining take your reserved seats in the theater, after the play return to the dining room and enjoy the cabaret show at $85 per person.
Senior Citizen Commission/Advisory Board Meeting, Tuesday, April 14, 6:30 p.m. in the Calendar House Main Hall. Calendar House members and the public are encouraged to attend.
Digital Photo Club, Wednesday, April 15, 1:00 pm. Discover state-of-the-art digital photography techniques with Peter Freeman. Occasional field trips are planned.
