Woman arrested for credit card theft

A New Britain woman was arrested in Southington this week after racking up over eight-thousand-dollars in credit card charges in her boyfriend’s ex wife’s name. Melissa Cocola, 39, opened three different credit cards and credit lines in the victim’s name, said police, purchasing approximately $8405.23 worth of merchandise since last March.
