Man arrested for assaulting an 83-year-old

Stephen Cieszynski, 47, of 108 Atwater St. in Southington was arrested at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, after a domestic dispute. Parking ban in effect

Due to the ongoing snowfall and attempts to clear the roadways of snow, the Town of Southington and the Southington Police Department will be implementing a parking ban on all streets effective immediately.  The ban will remain in effect until further notice. At Midnight the normal winter month’s overnight parking ban will go into effect.
