Transit buses shutting down at 6

This just in from the governor… Governor Dannel P. Malloy this afternoon announced that CT TRANSIT bus service will begin shutting down service at 4PM today, and all buses will stop running by 6PM. This shut down will be in effect for the entire state until further notice.

Townwide parking ban in effect

Due to the storm the town has instituted a winter parking ban for all town and state roads within Southington.  This ban is effective until further notice.  Any illegal parking could lead to the vehicle being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
