Main St. Dr. Thomas Finn will lead this free workshop, coving topics including the causes of anxiety and practical ways parents can help children reduce anxiety symptoms and avoidance behavior. “LIGHT UP THE GREEN” CONTEST. Open to Southington residents, 3-10 years old. Two official “switch flippers” will be chosen to light up the holiday light displays at the Southington and Plantsville Town Greens during the “White Christmas in the Community” event on Friday, Dec. 7. VILLAGE GREEN NURSERY SCHOOL. Offers a 2.5-hour 3-year-old program on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a 4-year-old program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
