The Southington Police Department announced the arrest of Noah Cadrain, 21, of Bristol on May 13 for charges resulting from a burglary in Southington.
The investigation found that Cadrain entered the garage of a local residence and attempted to disconnect and steal a battery out of a scooter. Cadrain fled that garage, but he was located nearby in another garage. Police found a large, fixed blade knife on his person, and he was holding a screwdriver at the time that he was located.
Cadrain was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, third degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, and criminal attempt to commit sixth degree larceny. He was held pending a $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Bristol Court on May 14.
