Sharon was born Oct. 26, 1966, daughter of Dawn L. Brownell of Woodbury and Clifford H. Snow Jr. of Southington. Raised in Forestville, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Bristol Central High School.
She had lived and worked in many towns in Connecticut, and for a while in Florida, returning to live in Torrington. She worked at many jobs, but found her calling as a school bus driver, where she enjoyed driving and interacting with children. She loved animals, especially cats and dogs, and always loved having her dog, Issy, for Isabelle, resting on her lap.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas Goodwin of Torrington, and her grandson, Bryson, the joy of her life, and his mother, Gwen Murphy, both of Winsted; her mother, Dawn Brownell, and her husband, Tom, and his daughters; her father, Clifford Snow Jr.; her sister, Donna Snow of Bristol; her brother, Cliff Snow III of and his wife, Janet, of Tampa, Fla.; her companion, Edward Pinette of Torrington, and his sister, Karen Bouthillier, and niece Lisa Lyon, both of Thomaston; two uncles, Dennis Luddington and his wife, Victoria, of Guilford and Robert Snow and his wife, Karen, of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; her nephew, Jason Freier and his wife, Vicki, and their daughter, Audrey, of Chantilly, Va.; and several cousins.
The family would like to thank the home visiting staff of the ALS Association of Connecticut, the Visiting Nurse Services in Torrington for their care and compassion for Sharon while she was confined to home and more recently the entire staff of Cook Willow, where she had worked, for their love and care.
