TRAINING FOR INTERVENTION PROCEDURES (TIPS). 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant, 774 Queen St. Free seminar for businesses sponsored by the Southington STEPS Coalition. Training includes TIPS workbooks, handouts, indentification booklets, and age verification sheets for recognizing signs of intoxication, preventing sale of alcohol to minors, quick intervention in potential problem situations, and reasonable efforts to prevent alcohol abuse.
