Bychowski, a doctoral candidate at George Washington University, author of “Mad for Margery: Disability and the Imago Dei in the Book of Margery Kemp.” The event will include community discussion about experiences of faith and embodiment, working towards a more accessible faith community. LENTEN DINNER SERIES – OUR RELIGIOUS NEIGHBORS. Tuesdays, March 7, 14, 21, 28, and April 4, beginning at 6:15 p.m., at Plantsville Congregational Church, 109 Church St. Each evening will begin with a light dinner followed by a program and discussion led by a guest speaker from a different religion. ST PATRICK’S DAY DINNER. 6 p.m. at the Mary Our Queen Church hall, Savage St. Corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, carrots and onions, Irish soda bread, dessert, and beverage. Entertainment by the Old Tyme Bristol Fiddlers. Proceeds to benefit church’s scholarship fund. Potluck supper followed by discussion comprised of panelists from True Colors, an organization that works with social service agencies, schools, and community organizations. Panel will span the spectrum of sexual orientation and gender identification, speaking about creating affirming, supportive spaces in their own faith communities.
