To the editor:

This election I am endorsing David Zoni for state representative. He has been an advocate for Southington at the capitol and works tirelessly to take care of his constituents. He has his finger on the pulse of Southington and has been able to assist with different projects such as the middle school construction and the new Calendar House building securing state grants and minimizing the property tax on Southington residents.

Zoni was also instrumental in getting grant funding for the new Southington Community Arts Center, the new Bread for Life Building, and the YMCA pool. I have witnessed him working on both sides of the aisle in Hartford, communicating and securing relationships with Republicans and Democrats in the legislature.

He continues to work closely with the town government assisting at the state level when needed. Zoni votes in the best interest of the Southington residents. When he has questions he is not afraid to seek out the answers at the state and local level.

Zoni deserves to be our state representative as much as Southington deserves to have him in Hartford looking out for the welfare of all Southington residents. On Tuesday Nov. 8, please join me and cast your vote for a positive voice in Hartford. Vote Zoni on Election Day.

John P. Moise, Southington
