Event is coordinated by the Merchants of Downtown Southington and the Village of Plantsville Association. Free transportation will be provided for travel between events. An array of activities and programs at both venues and combined events, such as hay rides along the Linear Trail, a trolley running up and down Main Street and a family Christmas ornament craft station at both locations. BULKY WASTE TRANSFER STATION HOURS. The bulky waste transfer station on Old Turnpike Road will be open for the following dates and times: from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 5, 9; and Dec. 3, 17.

The American Legion Kiltonic Post 72 is replacing the sidewalk in front of the post at 64 Main St. Cost is $50 to inscribe a personal message to a loved one or dates of service for a veteran in your family on a paver for the walkway.
