Cross Country: Southington began their postseason when traveled to Wickham Park in Manchester for the CCC Championship. The boys team placed seventh overall out of 31 teams, finishing third in the CCC Central Blue. Hall was the overall champion, followed by East Catholic as runner-up. Hall also placed first in the CCC Central Blue, followed by Glastonbury as runner-up. Mark Murdy (17:27.3) paced the Blue Knights by finishing 11th. Tom Murdy (17:59.3), Conner Leone (18:18.5), Shane Leone (18:35.1), Ryan Slesinski (18:53.2), Jeffrey Hannigan (19:24.2), and Jordan McMeans (20:21.3) contributed as well. The girls team placed eighth overall out of 26 teams, finishing third in the CCC Central Blue. Glastonbury was the overall champion, followed by Tolland as runner-up. Glastonbury also placed first in the CCC Central Blue, followed by Simsbury as runner-up. Isabella Scalise 21:23.1) paced the Lady Knights by finishing 20th. Marisa Matthews (21:58.6), Sarah Minkiewicz (22:29.9), Natalia Adamczyk (22:35.4), Kate Kemnitz (22:48.9), Catherine Myers (22:56.2), and Laini Pizzitola (24:22.9) contributed as well.
Girls Swimming & Diving: Southington won their third-straight meet with an 85-79 victory over Newington at home on senior night. Olivia Fournier improved her state-qualifying time in the 100 freestyle (54.13). The following seniors were recognized: Abby Alfieri, Jade Cassidy, Julianna Ferreri, Laura Furtak, Kailey Hinckley, Sam Martins, Sarah Mirisola, Julia Mularczyk, Jill Noli, Madison Osakowicz, Jess Piotrowski, Alexyss Roderick, Sam Sagnella, Kerry Buchanan (captain), Katie Estell (captain), Evelyn Holbrook (captain), and Hannah Olsen (captain). The Lady Knights are currently 7-2 overall.
