To the editor:

The political health in our country is nearing disaster. Starting with Mitch McConnell, making the statement that his foremost job would be to make sure that Obama was not re-elected. What followed was a hostile Republican-led “do nothing” Congress opposing all that came from the Obama administration. This has caused citizens to lose faith in our system and want nothing more to do with the establishment.

Donald Trump bullied his way to the nomination and was looked upon as a purveyor of wanted change. But let’s get a grip on reality. He is a poorly behaved, immature, politically ignorant, narcissist, the most un-presidential candidate ever nominated. Some intelligent people I know are backing him. Intelligence and wisdom are not one and the same. I hope wisdom will prevail and Hillary Clinton will be our next President.
