To the editor:
Connecticut ranks fourth in the nation according to a report on the “10 States with the Highest Taxes” with an average tax burden of $9,099 per citizen.
State Rep. David Zoni voted in favor for one of the highest tax increases in Connecticut history. With a looming $3 billion budget shortfall, we can expect to see more of the same. We can’t allow Democrats to continue reaching into our pockets to make up for their inability to curb spending.
Republican John Fusco will vote no on all new taxes and unfunded mandates that lead to local tax increases.
