To the editor:

Recently, political signs have gone up throughout Southington stating that a particular Republican who is running for State Representative has the support of Democrats. I would like to make it very clear that John Fusco does not have the support of the Southington Democratic Town Committee, nor does he have the support of any other organized political Democratic faction.

Since 2012, the endorsed Democratic candidate and two-term State Representative, Dave Zoni, has received tremendous support from a great many of his constituents.  This includes members of all political parties as well as those who subscribe to no party.

Dave’s understanding of the issues we face, his dedication to the people of Southington, and his determination to do what is right for all of us have garnered universal support for him among the voters of the 81st Assembly District.

Ensuring that Dave is reelected to the House of Representatives will benefit our community and State of Connecticut.  He is committed to continued service on the legislature’s Aging, Finance Revenue and Bonding, Insurance and Real Estate, and Public Health committees.  Dave work hard all day, every day, addressing the issues that will shape a positive future for all of us.

Robert M. Berkmoes, Southington Democratic Town Committee Chair
