The Women & Girls’ Fund of Main Street Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications from local nonprofit organizations through its annual competitive grant cycle. The application, which includes the grantmaking guidelines and criteria, is available on Main Street Community Foundation’s website, www.mainstreetfoundation.org.
Nonprofit organizations with programs serving women and girls in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and/or Wolcott may be eligible to apply for a grant from the Women & Girls’ Fund. Grants up to $10,000 will be considered for funding. All proposals are due by 4 p.m. on Sept. 30.
Organizations interested in applying are required to contact Jarre Betts, vice president of programs, at (860)583-6363 before submitting a proposal.
Organizations serving Burlington residents are also invited to apply for a grant from the Burlington Community Fund, while organizations serving Plainville residents are also invited to apply for a grant from the Plainville Community Fund. In addition, the Bradley Henry Barnes and Leila Upson Barnes Memorial Trust are accepting Letters of Intent from nonprofits supporting the health and health care needs of Southington residents. Proposals for the above three programs are due Sept. 16.
