The Bees: New Britain split its most recent series with the Lancaster Barnstormers at home, taking last night’s series finale to secure the split. In 14 games since the start of the second half, the Bees are 5-9, and are 41-43 overall.

The Opposition: Since splitting four games two weekends ago against the Bees, the Bluefish have posted a 4-3 record, taking three of four from Sugar Land and dropping two of three to Long Island in that time. Bridgeport is 8-6 so far in the second half, and 39-46 overall.

New Britain- RHP Brian Dupra (4-2, 3.90) | Bridgeport- RHP Jonathan Albaladejo (8-3, 4.50)

Key to the Game – New look lineup: Since manager Stan Cliburn changed the lineup to put Greg Golson and Michael Crouse atop the lineup three games ago, the Bees are 2-1 and have scored at least five runs in each of those games. While it has only been three games, the change seems to have sparked the offense, so look for the Bees to build on that momentum tonight against the Bluefish.
