On Saturday, July 2, Lake Compounce will host its annual fireworks display over the lake in celebration of Independence Day.
Produced by Pyrotecnico, the show, beginning with the laser show starts at 9 p.m., and fireworks will be launched from the far side of the lake as well as from barges floating in the lake.
Beginning July 1, the newly redesigned laser light show, “Illuminate the Night,” will light up the night sky every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through Aug. 21. Produced by Lasertainment in Minnesota, a 50-foot water wall will veil across the lake with simultaneous synchronized music, projections and lasers.
General Manager Jerry Brick said in a press release, “Fireworks are an annual tradition for us and our guests come out in droves to celebrate with us, and by hosting the laser light show we hope to provide that same level of excitement for our guests all summer long.”
In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be July 8, and will be announced on the park’s website and social media pages.
