To the editor:

I am writing in reference to Ryan Rogers May 27 article in this paper advising of his running for the state senate against Sen. Joe Markley (R).

Rogers spent a bit of his time criticizing Markley, for his many “no” votes on progressive legislation. Specific attention was placed on the domestic violence bill.

Rep. Rob Sampson wrote a most informative article about this bill recently. This bill makes a mockery of our system of laws and justice. And for that reason I am glad Senator Markley and others continue to vote against these types of legislation.

Ryan Rogers may be new to politics but he has learned to use that Democrat playbook for winning by appealing to the uninformed and misinformed voter.
