Apple Harvest seeks sponsors

Apple Harvest logo 2014Planning is underway for the 48th annual Apple Harvest Festival (AHF) in Southington, and the festival committee is seeking sponsorship for this year’s event.

The AHF has become one of the biggest events held in Connecticut with an attendance of over 100,000 people expected. Many local non-profit organizations utilize the festival as their main fundraiser; however attendance at the festival is drawn from local communities and across New England.

This year’s festival will be held over two weekends on Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 2, 7, and 9. The festival offers six days of fun, food, crafts, a parade, and live entertainment. In addition there is a children’s carnival aimed at offering great family fun.

The committee is currently looking for sponsors for specific events, such as the road race and Family Night, as well as main sponsors for the entire festival.

“Companies benefit by becoming a sponsor through high exposure, talking face to face with thousands of people, fantastic booth locations on sponsor row, and the overall great visibility that’s offered during these six festival days,” officials said in a release. “Join us for the traditional aspects we all look forward to, as well as the new surprises planned each year for festival goers.”
