The Southington Police Department announced the following arrests from Tuesday, Feb. 16 to Thursday, Feb. 25:

  • Joseph F. Freer, 46, of 493 South End Rd., Southington, was arrested on March 2 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drug and failure to drive right.
  • Carol A. Oflaherty, 32, of 166 Prospect St., Plantsville, was arrested on March 3 for evading responsibility and failure to obey a stop sign.
  • Christopher Delgado, 26, of 16 Woodruff St., Southington, was arrested on March 5 for second degree failure to appear.
  • Joseph Guardiano, 32, of 10 Holbrook Ct., Ansonia, was arrested on March 5 for sixth degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth degree larceny.
  • Michael R. Scatena, 48, of 2127 Mount Vernon Rd., Southington, was arrested on March 5 for impersonating a police officer, criminal possession of body armor, and criminal possession of a firearm.
  • George Degrandis, 37, of 6 Zwicks Farm Rd., Southington, was arrested on March 6 for disorderly conduct, second degree reckless endangerment, failure to restrain a child in a car seat, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Michael R. Scatena, 48, of 2127 Mount Vernon Rd., Southington, was arrested on March 6 for second degree failure to appear. In separate incidents, he was arrested for two counts of first degree failure to appear.
  • Colleen Marie Niland, 49, of 27 Heritage Dr., Southington, was arrested on March 7 for failure to respond to an infraction.
  • Edward Thorald Carey, 19, of 49 Washington Ave., Meriden, was arrested on March 7 for possession of less than one half ounce of marijuana.
  • Bernardino Ortiz, 40, of 174 Bond St., New Britain, was arrested on March 8 for sixth degree larceny.
  • Ethel P. Brazeau, 74, of 284 North Main St., Bristol, was arrested on March 8 for sixth degree larceny.
  • Nelson Pires, 26, of 96 Dunham Pl., Southington, was arrested on March 9 for interfering with a 911 call and disorderly conduct.
