The Southington Kiwanis Club recently dontated $500 to Southington Community Cultural Arts (SoCCA). The organization is currently renovating the downtown historic Gura Building into a teaching, exhibiting and performing facility for the arts. The Arts Center will provide unique and meaningful arts programming for all ages and give local artists a venue to exhibit and sell their work. “We are grateful for the support of our local Kiwanis Club and its members. The Kiwanis mission to strengthen communities and serve children is truly conducive to our goals and objectives for our arts center, which will fulfill so many needs in Southington,” said SoCCA Executive Director Mary DeCroce.
