MOVIE NIGHT AT FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH. 6:30 p.m. at 243 Laning St. Faith Baptist Church will present the 2015 movie, “War Room.” The 2015 movie, starring Alena Pitts, T.C. Stallings, Priscilla Shirer, and Karen Abercrombie, focuses on a family that struggles under the strain of a failing marriage. Their lives take an unexpected turn for the better when they meet a new client, Miss Clara (Abercrombie), who encourages the couple to find happiness through prayer. There is no charge, and all are welcome.

LUNCH AND LEARN PROGRAM FOR HEART HEALTH. Noon to 1 p.m. at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Bradley Memorial campus, 81 Meriden Ave. The Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging will present this program about heart health. This free presentation will be led by Catherine Callan, APRN, a nurse practitioner with The Hospital of Central Connecticut Heart Failure Resource Center & Outpatient Cardiology Clinic, who will share health guidelines specific to the heart. 25th ANNUAL LIONS CLUB ‘EVERYTHING GOES’ CHARITY AUCTION. 6:15 p.m. doors open and wine tasting. Raffle starts at 7:15. Cost is $5, and includes entry into the drawing for the grand door prize, a 32-inch LED HDTV, plus several bonus door prizes. Currently accepting registration for the 2016-2017 school year at 37 Main St. The school offers a 2.5-hour 3-year-old program on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a 4-year-old program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
