On the eve of Valentine’s Day, families are invited to dance the night away at the YMCA.

The Southington-Cheshire Community YMCA is hosting its annual Valentine’s Dinner and Dance, offering a family-friendly environment for all ages.

The dinner evening will include a pasta dinner, arts and crafts, children’s activities, and a dance-floor that is open all night. Tom Sangeloty, the YMCA’s Youth Program Director, will play host to a variety of dancing games throughout the evening.

“This event is a fantastic opportunity for families in the community to create a lasting memory they can share for a long time,” said Sangleoty, “We are adding some really exciting new elements to this year’s dance, so families will get a unique experience.”

The dance will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3.

The event is open to all, and no membership to the YMCA is required to attend.

YMCA members will be offered tickets for $5 per person, program members for $10 per person, and non-members for $15 per-person.

Families are asked to register as soon as possible to secure a spot.
