Southington police made another arrest as a result of a continuing investigation surrounding thefts from Brunalli Construction Co. on Buckland St. Today, Dylan Cooke, 21, of New Haven turned himself in on an arrest warrant.
The ongoing theft investigation originated on Sept. 17, 2015 when Cooke was arrested for stealing aluminum forming joists from the Brunalli property. As the investigation continued, police found that on Sept. 15, 2015 and Sept. 16, 2015, Cooke and another person (Jonathan Siarkowski) took aluminum, similar to the aluminum in the Sept. 17 case, to a scrap yard and received cash payments for the aluminum.
The value for the aluminum that was turned in during these latest incidents was $2048.
Cooke was charged with third degree larceny, two counts of third degree criminal trespassing, and two counts of second degree criminal mischief. He was held on a $500 bond and will appear in Bristol Superior Court today.
There are no more arrests expected in this case.
