Andrew Pelto, 24, of Southington was arrested after Southington police made two controlled purchases of marijuana.
During the month of August 2015, the Southington Police Department Special Investigations Unit received information that Pelto was selling marijuana in town. Based on this information, two controlled purchases of marijuana were made and two arrest warrants were issued by Bristol Superior Court.
Pelto turned himself into police on Saturday, Jan. 16 at approximately 11 a.m. after learning there were active warrants for his arrest. He was charged with two counts of selling marijuana. He was held on two $50,000 bonds and is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court yesterday.
The warrant was sealed at the time of the arrest and no further details will be released.
