Town Council appoints commissions

Another wave of appointments for local commissions and boards were made at the Dec. 7 Town Council meeting, with all members being unanimously voted in to their positions by the council.

Robert Salka and Ryan Rogers were appointed to four-year terms on the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA), and Phil Wooding will serve as the Town Historian.

Three vacancies on town boards were filled.

Attorney Bill Webber will fill a vacancy on the Board of Ethics, until Aug. 2016, and Gloria Brown was appointed to fill a second vacancy on the BOE, until 2017. Joe DelDebbio will fill a vacancy on the Board of Water Commissioners.

Two alternates were also appointed. Dave Kimmel was appointed to a three-year term as an alternate on the Board of Ethics, and Ron Bohigian was appointed as an alternate for the ZBA until November 2019.
