Elisabeth von Trap to sing at St. Paul Episcopal Church on Dec. 11. Tickets cost $15.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will host “The Sounds of Christmas,” a holiday concert featuring Elisabeth von Trapp. The concert is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 145 Main St. in Southington.

Von Trapp is the granddaughter of the legendary Maria and Baron von Trapp, whose story inspired “The Sound of Music.”

Elisabeth has carried on the legacy of the internationally renowned Trapp Family Singers. She was born into a rich musical heritage and began singing professionally at an early age. She has performed all over the world, enchanting audiences from European cathedrals to the Kennedy Center.

The evening of festive music will be intertwined with heartwarming stories of Christmas in the von Trapp household.
