Southington slugger Hunter Dombal was among the group of regional hitters to lead The Hit Club’s 13U baseball team to the title in the East Shore Travel League’s National Division Fall title on Sunday, Nov. 1 in North Branford. The Hit Club ousted the Cheshire Reds, 10-7, to cap a perfect 3-0 run through the league tournament. The team went 14-3 on the season, averaging 10 runs a game and holding their opponents to an average of two runs per game.
