The United Way of Southington will host the annual Festival of Trees and Traditions on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hawk’s Landing Country Club, 201 Pattonwood Drive, in Southington.

The annual event features holiday trees decorated and donated by local businesses and community organizations. Last year’s festival included trees decorated with bird houses, dog treats, balloons, and other creative themes to celebrate the season.  All items on display will be auctioned off throughout the evening.

Tickets cost $15 per person ($10 for seniors aged 55 and up). Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served, along with a cash bar.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the United Way of Southington, 37 West Center Street, Factory Square; at Southington Community Services, 91 Norton Street, Plantsville; or by calling (860) 628-4565.

Tickets will also be available at the door.

A live and silent auction will include gift baskets, center pieces, wreaths, and the theme trees themselves. Proceeds will benefit the United Way of Southington and the local agencies and programs it supports.
