The Southington Police Department announced an arrest on Oct. 20 which stems from three burglary investigations on Oak Street and Berlin Avenue in Southington on July 10, 2015.

William Chambers, 18, last known to live in Waterbury, was presented three warrants in the Bristol Court. Chambers is currently incarcerated with the Connecticut Department of of Correction on charges unrelated to this case.

 

The warrants allege that the burglaries occurred during the overnight hours on July 10, and residents were sleeping within the homes when the burglaries were taking place. Cash, cell phones, credit cards, and various electronic items were reported missing.

Chambers was charged with first degree burglary, second degree criminal trespassing, and sixth degree larceny.
