To the Editor:
Kudos to Mallory D’Agostino and Mike DelSanto. Both made excellent points in their editorials in the Oct. 2 edition of the Observer. The old adage, “If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it,” immediately came to mind. I’d like to echo their opinions, stating that our current boards are doing a wonderful job for our community.
This is especially true for Tom Lombardi, a man dedicated to serving others and his town. I wholeheartedly support Lombardi for Town Council.
I’ve known him for many years and have seen his tireless efforts to lead, inspire, and give back wherever possible. As a public school educator, I see in him all the qualities I admire in my best students.
He has volunteered with various town boards (especially the Town Council), as a basketball and soccer coach, and very impressively as an unpaid worker for Habitat for Humanity in Central America. Lombardi is exactly the type of individual we need, regardless of political party affiliation.
