To the Editor:
I was struck by the comments of Republicans as reported in the recent story on my group, Southington Citizens Against Overdevelopment.
They say the low turnout at its last meeting indicates a lack of interest in open space preservation. On the contrary, the 134 members who have signed on so far indicate a strong concern about overdevelopment.
I don’t believe residents support the current Republican policy of overdevelopment. We Democrats stand for positive change.
I ask that you vote to retain the small town charm and the family values that we all cherish.
