The Board of Directors of the Greater Southington Chamber of Commerce announced a job opening for the new Chamber Executive Director.
The position and its details will be listed on Indeed.com, and all interested applicants are encouraged to submit their resume through the job board website. Applications will be accepted from Friday, May 15, 2015 through Friday, June 5, 2015.
Desired skills and experience for the new Executive Director include a strong sales and marketing background, proven history of membership recruitment and retention, and experience speaking on behalf of a large and well-known community organization.
“We are excited to begin this process and welcome a new Executive Director to the Chamber of Commerce,” Dave Pestillo, Chairman of the search committee for this position said in a chamber release. “This position is a very visible one, and we are confident that the new leader of the organization will continue to position Southington’s business community as a strong, vibrant, and forward-thinking one.”
