PARC will be partnering with the Frederick Franklin Lodge No. 14 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, both of Plainville, to present the 2015 Charity Golf Classic on Saturday, June 6 at Southington Country Club, 150 Savage St., Southington. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a noon start.
This is one of four major annual fundraisers that benefits PARC, family centered services for people with developmental disabilities in the central Connecticut area. “This is a great opportunity to support the work we do with residents with developmental disabilities in our community,” PARC Executive Director Erica Donovan said in a release.
Cost is $135 per golfer, which includes lunch before tee-off, cart and greens fees, a snack at the ninth hole with a draft beer, a buffet dinner catered by Gnazzo’s Food Center with a draft beer, and one door prize ticket. Prizes will be awarded for the first place team, closest to the pin, and longest drive (male and female).
Sponsorship opportunities are also available from $150 platinum (which supports two weeks for one youth at Camp Trumbull, PARC’s summer camp); $125 gold (which funds a one-year membership for a PARC participant at Wheeler YMCA); $100 silver (which can support either one year for one member in PARC’s Healthy Living Activity Program or one year of Life Skills Class at Plainville High School for one member); and $50 friend (which funds a one-year membership in PARC).
Proceeds will benefit both organizations. Registrations and sponsorships are being accepted now. For more information, call PARC at 860-747-0316; visit the website www.parcdisabilitiesct.org or on Facebook.
