The All Night, Substance-Free, Graduation Party will be held on Thursday, June 18 at Southington High School, but volunteers are still needed for both shifts. Officials are looking for volunteers for the first shift (8:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.) and the second shift (12:15 a.m. to 4 a.m.).
The All-Night Graduation Party is a party for the Class of 2015 graduates that is organized by the parents on graduation night from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. The event offers a fun, safe, alchohol-free place to hang out with events filling the high school cafeteria, gym, and auditorium. The event offers food, a DJ, carnival games, a magician, a hypnotist, inflatables, contests, prizes, and more.
Event organizers are looking for adult volunteers (aged 21 or over and out of high school for at least four years). Some of the duties include monitoring the entrances, serving food, monitoring graduates on the inflatables in the gym, and running the carnival games. The volunteer does not need to be a parent; nor do they have to be a Southington resident.
For more information or to volunteer, call Monique at (860) 559-8546 or send an email to SHSANGP@gmail.com. Leave a name, contact information, and the preferred shift to receive more details.
