Obituaries for Jan. 9

Sherwood Daniels, 92, of Southington, died on Dec. 31 at Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain Campus. He was the husband of the late Madeleine (Albert) Daniels.

Edna (Munson) Egidio, 100, of Southington died on Dec. 24 at the Summit of Plantsville. She was the wife of the late Dominic (Jiggy) Egidio.

Christine P. Dobroczynski, 73, died on Friday, Dec. 26. She was the wife of Daniel D Dobroczynski for 52 years.

John T. Laye, 93, of Southington formerly of Bristol, died on Dec. 25 at Mulberry Gardens. He was the husband of the late Margaret Tilley and Bessie H. Huard.

Harriet (Mauch) McCoy, 78, of Palm Coast, Fla., formerly of Southington, CT, died on Dec.  15 after a long battle with cancer.

Joseph Charles Schunk, died on Dec. 25 at Ingraham Manor in Bristol after a long illness. He was born in Lawrence Harbor, NJ, and he retired from Luster-on Products.

Padraic Timothy Duffy, 48, of Meriden died on Tuesday, Dec. 23 in Meriden.

Mary Margaret (Malone) Dupuis, 90, of Southington, wife of the late Jean B. Dupuis, died Dec. 27.

Michael D. Palazzo, 42, of Sturbridge, Mass. and formerly of Southington, died at home on Tuesday, Dec. 30.

Mildred (Cowles) Burda, 88, of Southington died at home on Dec. 29. She was the wife of the late Rudolph Burda.

Stella S. Gillis, 95, formerly of Marion, died on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at the Highland Health Care Center in Cheshire.
