Jalowiec sworn in for a second term as probate judge

CHESHIRE—On Monday, the Cheshire-Southington Probate Court announced that Judge Matt Jalowiec has been sworn in for the upcoming term beginning in 2015. Presiding over the administration of the oath of office was Connecticut Supreme Court Justice Richard A. Robinson.  The ceremony was held at the Supreme Court building in Hartford on Dec. 29 attended by family and friends of Judge Jalowiec.

“I am thrilled to once again answer the call to serve the people of Cheshire and Southington by taking the oath.” Jalowiec said in a press release from the court. “To have such an esteemed Jurist as Justice Robinson administer the oath and address my family and friends on my accomplishments over the past four years is an incredible honor, and very humbling.  It is an exciting start to my second term.”

Jalowiec will serve the towns of Cheshire and Southington as well as serving as Judge at the Central Connecticut Regional Children’s Probate Court for the term 2015 through 2018. Jalowiec will begin his second term of office formally on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015.
