The Southington Library is presenting, “Make Your Own I Spy Game” and an I Spy Contest.
The Make Your Own I Spy Game will be held Thursday, Nov. 13
There was an Old Lady who swallowed a fly and few other silly things. The library will provide the Old Lady and the found objects and children craft their own I Spy game.
Fans, from the ages of 7 to 10, of “Look and Find” and “I Spy” will decorate and create on Nov. 13 at 6:15 p.m. at the Southington Library.

The I Spy Contest runs now through the Grand Finale on Thursday, Nov. 20.
Enter the “There was a Fine Town That Swallowed a Book I Spy Contest” for your chance to win a Kindle Fire. Request an I Spy Contest Sheet at the Children’s Services Desk then, look closely at the illustrations in Ed Tuttle’s book “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.: Look for each of the items pictured on the I Spy Contest Sheet. Count the number of times each item appears throughout the book (some items appear on more than one page) and write the number on the I Spy Contest Sheet in the square to the left of the picture.
All completed contest sheets will be entered into a drawing for a Kindle Fire.
The library is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
