Police investigating suspicious driver approaching female students

The Southington Police Department is investigating several instances of a suspicious man approaching female students over the course of the past month.

Police are investigating three separate instances since April 28. Each time the car is different, but the driver description is similar.

In two of the instances, the drive spoke to female high school students and asked them to get into his car. In the third incident, the man followed a female middle school student a short distance, but did not say anything.

According to police, witnesses gave three different vehicle descriptions, a small gold car, a small silver car and a small black car. All three were possibly four-door foreign models.
