Police investigating armed robbery at Dunkin Donuts

The Southington Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a Dunkin Donuts that occurred over the weekend.

According to police, the Dunkin Donuts at 262 Meriden Waterbury Turnpike was robbed, at gunpoint, on Saturday, April 12, at 8:30 p.m.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, wearing all black clothing and a black face mask over his nose and mouth.  The suspect displayed a black handgun, demanding all of the money from the cash registers.  Police believe that the suspect was operating a silver sedan type vehicle.

No one was injured during the course of the robbery.
