The Southington Police Department is investigating a break-in and robbery at Rock and Smoke on Queen Street.
Police were called to the store, located at 1173 Queen Street, on Monday, March 31, at 4 a.m.
At the scene, police discovered a hammer outside the building and a damaged case inside. A police K-9 unit was unable to track any potential suspects.
According to police, glass pipes were stolen. The thieves caused an estimated $8,000 worth of damage.
Police said the thieves broke in through a window after failing to get in through the front door.
Southington Police Spokesman Sgt. Jeff Dobratz said the police processed the scene for DNA evidence after blood was found on a piece of broken glass.
The business has posted several videos of the break-in on its Facebook page. The footage shows two people wearing hooded shirts and masks.
