Town prepares for another snowstorm

Town officials are already prepping for tomorrow’s storm.

Beginning at midnight, the town will have all of its plow trucks out and ready. Officials will make a final decision on contractors later tonight.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a winter storm warning is in effect from midnight tonight through 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.

According to the NWS, total snowfall for this storm is forecast to range from 3” – 6” along the coast, 6” – 9” across most of the state and up to 12” in the Northwest Hills.

The snow is expected to have a major impact on Wednesday’s commute.

Town officials are hoping to have all the town’s roads open and passable so rush hour can go off without a hitch Wednesday morning.
